The last day of term ended on a high as our Year 6 boys and girls took to the court for the annual ‘Pupils vs Teachers’ netball match.
With glorious spring sunshine and temperatures reaching 20 degrees on the courts, the whole school enjoyed cheering one another on.
Following the match, families, pupils and staff gathered for a charity bake sale on the playground to buy homemade cakes and sweet treats. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised money for our school charity, Guide Dogs, one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities.
Mr Dury, Head of Sport said: “This event was a wonderful way to wrap up the term. A huge well done to all our Year 6 pupils who took part and thanks to the staff and families who helped make the match and cake sale a success.”
