who we are

WRAPAROUND CARE

Wraparound care supports busy families and delights children. An integral part of school life enjoyed by many. Our children from Nursery through to Year 6 enjoy an early breakfast through to after-school fun in our caring environment called The Hive where children feel secure, inspired and ready to learn. Parents are assured their child is well cared for before and after school.

Before and after-school care for busy children and busy parents in The Hive

Breakfast club

The Hive opens its doors at 7.30am, offering children a calm and welcoming start to the day. A relaxed breakfast of cereal, toast and drinks helps them feel settled and ready for learning.

At 8.15am, staff accompany the children safely to their classrooms. This gentle, structured routine ensures a smooth transition into the school day, giving children the energy and confidence to begin with focus and positivity.

After-school club

Available from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, families can book one, two or all three sessions depending on their needs. Children enjoy fruit and water throughout, with a hot meal served at 4.45pm to give them fuel after a busy day.

Each after-school session offers a wide choice of activities including art, craft, outdoor play, construction, role-play and games. Older pupils complete homework during the final session, while younger children enjoy reading and spelling practice in a calm, supportive space.

Holiday club

Holiday clubs operate on campus during most school breaks, offering children exciting days filled with play, creativity and outdoor adventures making the most of our 27-acres and our outstanding sports facilities. It’s a fun, safe space where friendships grow and every child can try something new.

Holiday clubs are a combination of programme run by St Margaret’s as well as camps run Active Camps based on our campus. Active Camps run specialist sessions providing opportunities for sport, teamwork and discovery. Active Camps are open to pupils at St Margaret’s as well as children from other local schools.

Holiday clubs and camps offer flexible hours and engaging activities, tailored for every age and interest.
