ACADEMIC LIFE

Specialist teaching

Our team of specialist teachers enables pupils to develop subject depth and breadth usually not experienced until senior school. From Nursery onwards, pupils are taught French, computing, sport, music and art and design by specialist teachers with a deep passion and knowledge for their subject.

Facilities are excellent. Children have access to our 25-metre swimming pool, fully-equipped science labs, well-stocked library, all-year round astroturf and sports hall. There’s a fully-equipped computer suite, music rooms (including soundproof drum studio) and spacious art room.

ACADEMIC LIFE

Classroom teachers

Our classroom teachers build strong relationships with every child, understanding their strengths, needs, and passions. With care and insight, each of our teachers tailor learning to bring out the best in each pupil – nurturing confidence, curiosity, and achievement.

Our personal, kind and purposeful teaching helps children flourish, every single day as they learn to be Be Kind, Be Bold and Be You.

ACADEMIC LIFE

Outdoor education

Our Forest School and outdoor learning spaces offer children the freedom to explore, create and connect with nature. From an outdoor classroom and wildlife garden to a storytelling corner, bug houses and outdoor kitchen, every space invites investigation, experimentation and hands-on discovery.

For our youngest children, the bespoke Early Years’ Courtyard provides a safe and joyful environment at the heart of the school. Here, imagination blossoms through play, nurturing a lifelong love of the outdoors from the very start of their learning journey.

‘When my son was in Nursery, he had already learned more French than I knew.’
