There was plenty to celebrate at Prizegiving Day this year, as pupils proudly presented a cheque for an incredible £2,789.65 to Guide Dogs UK.
The children chose Guide Dogs UK as their school charity and have spent the whole year finding fun and creative ways to raise money. From a Colour Run to Enterprise Week where pupils ran their own stalls and sold their creations.
George, a representative from Guide Dogs UK joined the celebrations on stage and was delighted to receive a giant cheque from members of our School Council.
Even more excitingly, because the children raised over £2,500, the school has earned the chance to name a guide dog puppy. We can’t wait to find out what they’ll choose… watch this space!
