Year 1 kicked off their new topic ‘Beside the Seaside’ with an exciting day by the coast.
The children enjoyed a sunny day at Weston-Super-Mare, exploring both physical and human geographical features, developing their knowledge of plants – and broadening their understanding of life by the sea in the past.
The visit was topped off with an exciting ride on the Weston Observation Wheel before exploring some fascinating exhibits at the Weston Museum.
A fun filled day for all, made even more special by the company of Mr Hopkins, Head and Mr Rolinson, our minibus driver who joined us for a fantastic day of bringing learning to life by the sea.
